Create impactful photo and visual effects

To apply and edge effect (otherwise known as photo frames) to your images, open the Add Art panel on the sidebar. This shows you a set of premade Edges, Overlays and Shapes. You can apply any of these to the canvas by clicking on them. Once added to your canvas place the edge or shape over your image and resize it to fit over the image. Now right click on the image below the edge and choose the Mask Image option. The image will now be ready to receive the edge or shape. All you have to do is move the edge over the top of the image and it will automatically mask the image to the shape of the edge effect. To remove the edge, right click on the masked image and choose the Release Mask option and your original image will be restored to the canvas.

Select an image on the canvas and you will see the Image Menu appear. On the Image Menu look for the Effects button (Image Icon). Click it and this opens up the Image Effects modal. There are three tabs at the top: Inpainting, Brush Effects and Focus Effects. The Inpainting allows you to brush over an area of your image to specify things you want generative AI to change or remove. You can choose from Flux Pro Fill or Stability AI to apply the changes to the selected area. The Brush Effects tab shows you controls where you can lighten or darken areas of your image by brushing over them. This paints light or shading over the areas you brush over. It is a cumulative effect so the more times you brush, the more intense the effect will be. The Focus Effect tab will show you special control rings that can be adjusted to apply selective focal effects such as soft focus to your image. The center control and the rings can be moved to adjust the degree of softness and where the infocus area is centered.

For many of the generative AI models, such as Flux Ultra, we include hundreds of preset Photo Styles that apply visual effects like isometric designs, color splashs, pop-color, origami, low-poly, blueprint drawing, high-contrast black and white, creamy black and white, lighting effects with streaming light, bokah effects, energy bursts, light swirls and more. Each of these will be combined with your prompt to enhance your vision. You can, for example, type in a prompt with a subject like create a glass of wine on a table and select a light swirl effect. The resulting image will apply light swirls surrounding the wine glass. To use this feature, open the Generator Tray at the top of the interface (click on the StyleForge menu) and choose the Style menu on your selected AI model (i.e. Flux Ultra > Styles menu) and pick the effect you want. Enter a prompt, and the preset effect will be rendered on the generated art.

The Remix feature is a node-based artboard generator that lets you create a single design on an artboard then remix the style of art you have created. You can place text or images on an artboard, such as a logo or graphic design then remix the artboard using generative AI prompts. A new remix of your design is created on a node based artboard connected to the original. You can remix the original artboard as many times as you like to create variations of your original design. Use case: Add black and white text on the artboard, click the Remix button and enter a prompt requesting the AI to transform the letters into different styled effects such as metalic gold with a shiney surface and glint reflections.

Click on the one you like and enter a prompt describing the artboard or subject you want to have created using the selected media style.
