How to manage brand fonts and colors

StyleForge's brand kits are easy to use. Here's how to quickly setup and manage a brand kit to hot-swap your assets, fonts and colors.

Step 1

Set the brand kit as the active kit

Click the brown briefcase button on the left sidebar while working on a canvas project. This opens up the Brand Kits panel. Click on the brand kit name, and then click the green Set as Active button.

Step 2

Add Text Panel will now show the brand kit fonts

After you set a brand kit as active, all assets across the platform load up your brand kit settings. The Add Text panel, for example, will now load up all brand fonts you have favorited.

Step 3

Brand assets are also loaded up for quick access

All brand kit assets are now available from the ❤️ Add Elements panel. Here you can place any brand text (i.e. slogans, headlines, body copy) you frequently use and have saved to the brand kit. This includes grouped elements (i.e. text + images or graphics), images and even videos.

Step 4

Add fonts to the brand kit from the type panel

To add fonts to the active brand kit, simply click the ❤️ heart icon next to the font name. This saves them to the brand kit. To make a font go to the top of the Add Text menu (useful with many fonts) click the ⭐ star icon to set is a primary font.

Step 5

Add canvas elements to the brand kit

While you work on projects you can save out elements to the brand kit so they are always available while working with the brand. Each selected element will show a menu at the bottom of the canvas. Click the ❤️ heart icon and select which brand kit to save it under.

How can StyleForge help me manage my brand fonts and colors?

The brand kits in StyleForge allow design teams to select the brand fonts and colors used for each brand they work on. When you activate a brand kit all fonts and colors for that brand load up across all tools and panels in the platform.

First, create a new brand kit for a client or project. Next, when you are working on a design and use a font, simply click the Heart icon on the Fonts panel. This stores that font under the brand kit. If you use multiple fonts for a brand and want to prioritize a font to show at the top of the Add Text panel, click the star icon next to the font.
When you are adding elements to a design under panels like the Add Text or Add Shapes panel, you will see a list of colors shown for that brand. There is a + plus button next to the brand colors. Click on this to create a new brand color. Once you create a brand color, it will be available throughout all tools and panels on StyleForge so you can consistently apply brand colors to your designs.
