Agency Playbooks/Creative Studio for Shopify

A playbook in action

Name a product — Claude carries it to a richer listing

One playbook, the whole loop. Name a product from your connected Shopify store and say what its page needs. Claude pulls the real photos and facts, argues the right store format, sketches sequences you react to on a live preview, and publishes the approved cards — and a product video — straight back onto that exact listing. Prices render digit for digit; nothing is invented.

The loop, in four moves

1You name a product
2You judge sketches, then produce
3You make the product video
4You publish back to the listing

Sketching and iterating is the cheap layer — producing the finished cards is the step you choose; publishing to your store is free.

Step 1 · You name a product

Name the product — Claude pulls it from your store

Say which product and what its page needs. Claude finds it in your connected Shopify store, loads its real photos and details, argues the store format that fits, and hands back three sequences sketched card by card — you judge the plan before anything renders.

The whole brief — one message

Ask Claude to

“Refresh the page for our linen sun dress — the one that's $58 in three colorways. Make it feel light and premium.”

Your product is the input

Name it like you would to a colleague and Claude finds it in your connected store — the listing's real photos become the references, its details fill the Facts bar. No uploads, no exports.

01
Directed like an agency

Claude argues a store format by name — hook the product, earn each visible detail, close on the real price — and sketches three sequences you react to in plain English, before anything renders.

02
Your facts are the law

Price and options are read live from the product and print digit for digit; your offer rides in your exact words. A fact you leave out never appears, and a price is never invented.

Step 2 · You iterate, then produce

Judge the plan — then produce the one you approve

Three sequences land as card-by-card sketches — genuinely different ways to tell the same product’s page. Say what you want in plain English; the copy you type is exact, and every price is quoted straight from your store, never invented. Sketching and iterating is the cheap layer, so you refine freely. Producing the finished cards is the step you choose — priced and asked before it fires, and each card is born stamped with its product.

Refine the sequence — the plan updates

Ask Claude to

“Put the $58 price on the closing card only.”

Ask Claude to

“Make card 2 about the three colorways.”

Ask Claude to

“Add my offer — “20% off this week,” my words exactly.”

Ask Claude to

“Tighten it to four cards, hook on the fabric.”

Step 3 · You make the product video

One click — the sequence becomes the video your listing wants

The sequence is the storyboard, so the video is nearly free. One click flows the approved cards into a single product video — about a minute, no tokens. Silent is right for the product page (they autoplay muted); for a social cut, Claude writes a jingle from the cards’ own copy and scores it.

One product video
On the listing
Free, about a minute

The video is built from the cards you already approved — no editor, no timeline, no export. After publishing, your store processes it and it appears in a few minutes.

Music only if it's for social

Pages autoplay muted, so silent is the honest page default. For social, Claude writes a jingle from the cards' own copy — sung brand-true — and mixes it on; the silent cut is always kept.

Step 4 · You publish — the loop closes

Heart the keepers, and they land back on the listing

Heart the cards and the video you approve and publish them straight back onto the product’s own listing — append-only, nothing existing is touched, and every card routes to the product it was born for. Prefer to review first? The same set goes to your store’s Files library instead. Either way, the Shopify admin link comes back.

Heart → publish → see it live

Ask Claude to

“Publish all four cards and the video to the listing, in order, and give me the admin link.”

Append-only · never overwrites

Two places it can land — your call

The product's own listing

Appended to its media — live immediately, alt text written for you

Your store's Files library

Review in admin first, or reuse for theme sections, emails and blogs

The loop closes where it started — a one-click link opens the listing in your store, and the project remembers what shipped where.

Built as one loop — not a one-off render

The store is the source and the destination. That round-trip — grounded in real facts, safe across a whole catalog — is what a generic design tool can never be.

The full circle

The store is both the source and the destination — the product loads from its listing, and the finished cards and video publish straight back onto that same listing. The browser-tab shuffle between a design tool and your admin is gone.

Facts are sacred

The Facts bar shows the exact string each chip will print, read live from the product. What you include renders character for character; what you leave out never appears. A wrong price on a product page is a refund machine — so the studio never guesses one.

One project per product

Every card is born stamped with the product it was made for, so publishing can never land art on the wrong listing — which is what makes working a whole catalog in one sitting safe by construction.

Append-only, always

Publishing adds to the listing's media and never deletes or replaces what's already there, with alt text written for you on every image. Prefer to review first? The same cards go to your store's Files library instead.

Named for the moment you’re in

Every one is a ready-to-run playbook — say the name, or just describe the product page you want and Claude picks the right starting point.

“Refresh a product page”

The default first move — name a product and Claude gives its page the agency treatment: real photos and facts, the right store format argued, sketched sequences you react to, published back onto that exact listing.

“New drop, full circle”

Launch day, everything at once — the sequence, a free one-click product video, and both published to the new listing, so the page is rich from the moment it goes live.

“Work the catalog”

The volume play — name a slice (your five newest, the weak listings, a vendor line) and Claude runs the treatment product by product, one project each, priced up front and reviewable in bulk.

“Give the whole collection one look”

One store format, one aspect, one visual voice held across every product in a collection — each listing refreshed as its own project, all reading as one shoot.

“Make the product video”

If the sequence exists, the video is nearly free — the cards become one film in about a minute, silent for the page or scored with a brand-sung jingle for social.

“Publish what I approved”

Land the exact cards you call out, in the order you choose, appended to the product's own page with the alt text already written — or into the Files library when you'd rather review in admin first.

This is one lane. The playbook idea runs the whole agency.
